Nikita did everything in his power to make our special day that bit more special. The lessons were fun but focused, and above all, comfortable. As inexperienced dancers there were times we struggled with some steps, but he would break it down, or, if something really didn’t click for us, he had ideas to adapt the dance to suit us. He choreographed a fusion of foxtrot and swing to match the vibes of our wedding: a relaxed celebration, with some formality befitting such an occasion. Nikita was even kind enough to slow down our music ever so slightly for our first dance so that it had that slower, timeless quality we had hoped for. Nikita brought a joy, patience, and enthusiasm to our lessons that helped keep things light; he wanted us to be happy, confident and comfortable, enjoying the lessons and finding a love for dance, with no stress or nerves. He even prepared us for what to do if something unexpected happened (which it did! Two of the pins holding the wedding dress skirt out of the way failed and we got tangled, but there was no panic and we carried on without anyone the wiser).

Working with Nick on our first dance was such a special part of our wedding journey. From the very beginning, Nick made us feel comfortable, confident and excited about something that initially felt a little intimidating. Nik’s patience, creativity and ability to understand our personalities made the choreography feel natural and truly “us.” Nick didn’t just teach us steps — he helped us create a beautiful moment that we will remember for the rest of our lives. - We went to Nick a few months before our wedding. We were absolutely hopeless at dancing with zero rhythm!!! We were both totally surprised to enjoy dance lessons! Nick has an excellent personality. He is both funny and patient. We were sad when our dance lessons were over. Nick instantly taught us a few steps which we could transfer to any music. He choreographed our first dance. We honestly cannot thank Nikita enough for everything he did for us. When we first walked into our lessons, we were complete beginners — we had never danced a single step before and were incredibly nervous about our first dance. What started as nerves quickly turned into one of the most special parts of our wedding journey. We really looked forward to every lesson! On the day itself, we felt confident and calm — something we never thought would be possible. Our guests were blown away, and so many people commented on how beautiful our first dance looked and felt to them watching on. Nikita was fantastic to work with in the lead up to our wedding. He made the whole process feel relaxed and enjoyable from the very first session. What I appreciated most was the balance he struck. He was incredibly patient and clear in his teaching, but also willing to nudge us to be a bit braver with the routine. By the time the big day in Ireland came around, we felt confident and properly prepared, and the dance ended up being one of the highlights of the whole celebration.
